It’s a weekend of joy! \nFRIDAY\nCOMMUNITY SHOWCASE\nPerformances by high school ensembles fill Sculpture Hall with the sounds of the season:\n5 pm: Crossroads College Prep performing classical pop songs and contemporary hits.\n6 pm: Clayton High School performing musical hits\, along with music from the folk\, jazz\, and classical traditions.\n7:30 pm: Normandy High School performing modern jazz and rhythm & blues. \nCREATE LAB\n5–8 pm\nDrop by the Create Lab in Grigg Gallery and make a festive holiday decoration. \nHOT COCOA HAPPY HOUR\n5–8 pm\nJingle and mingle at the hot cocoa happy hour in Sculpture Hall while enjoying community performances. A full cash bar is available. \nGARDEN WALK\n5–8 pm\nRevel in the harmonic glee while taking a lantern-lit stroll in the Grace Taylor Broughton Sculpture Garden. Performances include:\n5 pm: Rhythm ‘n’ Ruach performing high-energy Hebrew and Jewish music.\n6 pm: St. Louis Christmas Carols Association performing traditional favorites.\n7 pm: Grupo México\, with Gloria Hansen\, performing traditional Mexican and Las Posadas holiday songs. \nTREE LIGHTING\n6:30 pm\nHead to the Grace Taylor Broughton Sculpture Garden for the first-annual tree-lighting ceremony with Brent Benjamin\, the Barbara B. Taylor Director of the Saint Louis Art Museum.\nThe Museum’s annual tree lighting ceremony is supported by Ameren Missouri. \nWINTER CONCERT\n7—8:30 pm\nEnjoy the Gateway Science Academy‘s Orchestra and Band during this special winter performance that will raise your holiday spirits! Performance takes place in The Farrell Auditorium. \nSATURDAY\nCOMMUNITY SHOWCASE\nPerformances by community organizations fill Sculpture Hall with dancing and the sounds of the season:\n12:15 pm: Livety: Indigenous Dance performing traditional West African dance and drumming.\n1:15 pm: Dance Center of Kirkwood performing scenes from The Nutcracker.\n2:15 pm: Hispanic Festival\, Inc. performing traditional dance and music from Latin America.\n3:15 pm: St. Louis Osuwa Taiko performing Japanese drumming. \nCREATE LAB\nNoon–4 pm\nDrop by the Create Lab in Grigg Gallery to make a festive holiday decoration. \nFILMS\nNoon–4 pm\nStop by The Farrell Auditorium for a whimsical lineup of animated short films from around the world. Decorate your own in the Education Center. All supplies provided. \nDROP-IN TOUR\n2–3 pm\nEnjoy a docent-led tour in partnership with the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis‘s production of A Christmas Carol. This free\, drop-in tour departs from the Information Center located in Sculpture Hall.

On Sunday\, December 11\, nine beautiful homes and one church will be decorated in their finest for the holiday season. A true St. Louis holiday tradition\, our home tour is a unique annual event showcasing one of the largest collections of Victorian homes in the nation. \n\n\nTOUR DETAILS \nThe tour begins at the Park House\, located at the corner of Mississippi and Lafayette Avenues. Pick up your tickets and tour book there. \nAmenities include complimentary carriage rides\, a trolley between tour homes\, live music\, strolling carolers\, and Santa. Neighborhood shops and restaurants will be open\, with many offering treats and discounts. \nThe tour is conducted as a self-guided\, open house format: attendees are welcome to visit homes in any order at any time during tour hours. If you’d like to see all of the tour homes\, please allow at least three hours. Our Holiday Parlor Tour features only the first floor of each home. All homes have several stairs leading to the entrance; we regret that we are not wheelchair accessible. A free trolley will be running in a loop around the neighborhood to save you a few extra steps between homes. \nRefreshments will be available at the newly renovated Kern Pavilion (formerly known as “the Boathouse”) in Lafayette Park\, as well as in neighborhood establishments. \n\nTICKETS \n2016 Holiday Parlor Tour Tickets – $20 each \n\n\nTickets cost $20 in Advance\, $25 Day of the Tour\, and children under 12 are Free. Tickets are non-refundable. The tour is held rain or shine. Advance tickets must be picked up on Tour Day – we do not mail paper tickets.
