DESCRIPTION:First Friday is the Science Center’s premier experience for adults. Many activities are designed with individuals age 16 or older in mind. Families are welcome to enjoy the activities using parental discretion. \nUnless otherwise noted $\, all activities are FREE! Free parking on First Fridays! All items marked with a TR require tickets. Tickets for free screenings available at any box office\, starting at 6:00 pm. \nNOT TO BE MISSED!\n8PM\, OMNIMAX/2 TTT\nSPECIAL PRESENTATION: PEERING INTO A JURASSIC WORLD – THE NEW SCIENCE OF FLESHING OUT DINOSAURS\nDiscover the latest in dinosaur digital reconstruction with the Science Center’s collaborating paleontologist\, Dr. Ashley Morhardt\, Washington University School of Medicine. Learn about the Visible Interactive Dinosaur Project and how its findings compare to how dinosaurs are depicted in Jurassic World. \n6:00 PM – 9:00 PM\, ENTIRE CAMPUS\nPLAY DINOSAURS AMONG US!\nStart the game on the First Floor of the Main Building at the Archon table. Travel throughout the campus to discover Jurassic Park-inspired clues\, solve the challenge\, and claim your prize! \nONGOING ACTIVITIES\, 6-9PM\nLOWER LEVEL-LL\nGet creative in the Fossil Prep Lab and make your own Dino Masks! \nLearn about fossils with the Eastern Missouri Society of Paleontology. \nFIRST FLOOR-1\nVisit the Life Science Lab and learn about genetics and evolution with our favorite amphibians\, the axolotls. \nVisit our First Friday Partners\, including Dancakes and Anime St. Louis\, in Boeing Hall South at our Dealers’ Room and Lounge and enjoy food and drink specials! \nTry some puzzles with Escape the Room St. Louis and learn about their many themed escape rooms. \nExplore Triceratops brain research with Washington University in St. Louis. \nTry out paleontology and adventure board games from Game Nite\, in the Life Science Lab Classroom. \nGROW-1 \nHead out to GROW and learn about our Youth Exploring Science (YES) Program and how paleontology can be integrated into STEM learning. \nSink your teeth into the Titanosaur Burger (1/2 pound burger with bacon jam & American cheese) at the Fermentation Station. \nThe Loft-2 \nDon’t miss tonight’s food and drink specials in The Loft – Mesozoic Mimosa and Volcanic Dino Wings (Spicy Chicken Wings). \nMakerspace-2 \nDinosaur? Footprint? Escape Vehicle?
