With more than 70 entrants and 130\,000 spectators\, it is the most well-attended single-day hot air balloon race in the United States \n\n\n\n\n \nFriday\, September 20\, 2019\nThe Great Forest Park Balloon Race\, Balloon Glow at Central Fields\n5:00 P.M. – FESTIVITIES BEGIN\nPlan ahead\, find the perfect viewing area for you and your family and join us for dinner at Central Fields! Enjoy tasty fare from food trucks\, concessionaires\, and activities – all open beginning at 5 p.m. Or pack your own (soft-sided coolers\, please) and settle in at one of the Enterprise Family Picnic areas! \n6:00 P.M. – LIVE MUSIC FROM BOOGIE CHYLD ON THE MARYVILLE UNIVERSITY MAIN STAGE\nDUSK UNTIL 9 P.M. – BALLOON GLOW OFFICIALLY BEGINS.\nThe balloons “glow” like huge fireflies\, a truly magical scene\, and one not to be missed! DESCRIPTION:Sep 21\, 10:00 AM – Sep 23\, 10:00 PM\n\nSoulard Park\, 7th St. and Lafayette Ave.\, St. Louis 63104\n\n\nAbout the Event\n\n\n\nHispanic Festival\, Inc. will be turning up the heat for the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival at Soulard Park near 7th Street and Lafayette next to the Soulard Market on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday – September 20\, 21\, 22\, 2019. Hours are Friday\, September 20 and Saturday\, September 21 from 10am to 10pm and also\, Sunday\, September 22 from 11am to 8pm. This is the largest Hispanic celebration in the St. Louis area! \nThe annual event will feature Hispanic Folkloric dancers\, over 70 booths and the Los Ninos Kids Corner with Dora the Explorer & Diego. \nTake in the sizzling sounds of Hispanic music with live Latino bands playing a variety of music on the premier concert stage including salsa\, merengue\, latin rock\, percussion\, cumbia and bachata. Traditional folkloric dancers from Mexico\, Brazil and Colombia will be performing as well as offering dances lessons in salsa and bachata. \nOur Cultural Village will be host to a wide variety of foods and beverages from Latin & South America including Mexico\, Dominican Republic\, Argentina\, Belize\, and more. \nAn addition to this great event is the Low Rider Car Cruise on Sunday\, September 22 at 1pm. Other attractions include folk arts & crafts\, information booths from several cultural organizations\, inflatable rides\, petting zoo\, salsa dance lessons and a mechanical bull.
