Home of an American Horror Story

If you are a fan of the horror genre, you have probably watched “American Horror Story” on FX. One of the features of the show that I truly enjoyed was the beauty of the Harmon’s troubled home. Well, if you are in the market for an additional home in L.A., you can purchase the home where all the action took place for a cool $17 Million.

Before the television show, this home was known as the Alfred F. Rosenheim Mansion. Originally built in 1907, this property is a L.A. Historic Cultural Monument and is comprised of a 3-story main house plus a grand ballroom (formerly a chapel and now a recording studio).

Some of the best features of the house include the Tiffany stained glass windows, Tiffany light fixtures, Tiffany leaded-glass display cases, and a museum-quality set of Tiffany glass doors. The use of rich wood paneling can be seen throughout the home and work well in conjunction with the many beamed ceilings.
